Скрюченные ножки по скрюченной дорожке....казалось бы нет никакого смысла, однако если взять в оригинале английское слово screwed - скрюченный, то у него есть ещё и другое значение - м-м-м, пусть будет гребаный.И тогда - "....и гулял он целый век по гребаной дорожке....жили гребаные мышки .." оживает совсем по-другому.Причуда гения - из неприличного английского стишка сделать хорошую детскую песенку...:-)

Вернемся к корням, в смысле к Корнею Ивановичу. Что может быть лучше чем его стихи. Просто для простых. сложно для скрюченных.
